Infrastructure Service Delivery Analyst
Fort Worth, TX

General Purpose of Position:

Responsible for analyzing and coordinating enterprise standards for client’s workstation computing systems and the global IT service desk. Ensures that workstation computing systems and service desk will enable client's continued business growth through effective delivery in an outsourced service delivery environment.
 

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

Works closely with Center of Excellence (COE) Service Delivery Managers and Business Unit Relationship Managers to understand overall business strategy and specific Business Unit (BU) needs

bullet

 Analyzes and contributes to enterprise strategy for workstation computing and service desk, based on both current and future business needs.

bullet

 Works closely with supplier technical delivery manager to:
bullet

Understand supplier delivery capabilities

bullet

Educate supplier on needs and standards

bullet

Ensure supplier compliance with standards

bullet

Identify service delivery issues and develop improvement plans, Provide subject matter expertise for all issues related to workstation computing and service desk.

bullet

Assist in business case development for all issues pertaining to workstation computing and service desk enhancements

bullet

Review supplier performance data to identify trends & issues and develop performance improvement plans

bullet

Review and make recommendations on any exception request to established standards for workstations and service desk

bullet

Develops working relationships with COE Service Delivery Managers globally

bullet

Interacts with other COE, BU, and Infrastructure Operations Sub-Committee members as appropriate

bullet

Develops close working relationship with supplier service desk and workstation service delivery organizations

bullet

Interacts with other supplier personnel as appropriate.
 

 Skills and Abilities:

bullet

3– 5 years experience in a workstation computing operations environment or service desk management

bullet

Demonstrated competency in execution of large projects and development of efficient and effective solutions to diverse and complex business problems

bullet

Understanding of outsourced services delivery model; experience working in outsourced environment a strong plus

bullet

Strong project management skills

bullet

Experience with IT customer service tools and techniques

bullet

Strong understanding of workstation computing systems and service desk operations and interrelationships with other IT systems

bullet

Knowledge of how IT systems can be structured and deployed to enable achievement of business goals and objectives

bullet

Ability to plan operations requirements one to three years in advance

bullet

Experience in creating and defining new operations models/procedures and explaining complex problems or situations

bullet

Ability to build and sustain effective partnerships with third-party services supplier

bullet

Strong knowledge and understanding of business needs, with the ability to establish and maintain a high level of user trust and confidence in the team's concern for users

bullet

Ability to effectively adapt to rapidly changing technology and apply it to dynamic business needs

bullet

Knowledge and understanding of business and business processes

bullet

Excellent oral and written communication skills; an ability to present and discuss technical information in a way that establishes rapport, persuades others, and gains understanding

bullet

Fluency in multiple languages is a plus.

Education and/or Training:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline with an IT focus
